This 3 day course is designed for the law officer or military operator in the field to detect illicit use of cryptocurrencies while investigating illegal narcotics and transnational organizations. The course will cover the basics of Bitcoin and other popular coins. Coin wallets & exchange services.
Using block chain explorers in the field to run discovered coin addresses forward and backward. Google Dorking to find a transaction on the block chain quickly from as little as one data point. Transacting with subjects or machines to analyze their coin transactions. Creating alerts to monitor specific coin address activity. How to discover crypto resources in your operational area. Exploring known hardware and software exploits to reveal more information about transactions. Building and improving a cryptocurrency SSE checklist. Developing and coordinating a cryptocurrency policy within your department, agency or task force. The culmination exercise (CULEX) will be designed to flex all subjects covered during the training period.
